An American Rules double format Hi-Lo draw. The weather was absolutely suberb -- if you are thinking about coming out the Arizona, then I believe you should sign-up for the Arizona Open. Spots are still available and you can contact Rory Kelley. The court played very well, the Kraft corner has grass growing on top of it now and it seems quite level there. The deadness boards need a little cleaning, but they work and we tried out all the little flippers -- i.e. we know what it means to make a colorful board. And we had the most wonderful field of players -- it even seemed that we all were silently cheering each other on. We have a new player to croquet and Ivan takes to the game. Ivan we will all be seeing more of I think. We also have another new member, but he was down in Southern Arizona with his parents this weekend. Arizona is so nice this time of year, it is hard to choose what to do on any given day. We miss our winter visitors, Daley and Dorothy Craig. They don't much like flying or I am sure we would see more of them. And of course, we miss Steve and Pam Johnston, but look forward to seeing them in March for the Arizona Open. We will have to re-schedule the PRO-AM event. Let's have a board meeting soon to straighten things out. About Thursday at my house? Give me a call. Best regards, Paul B.
