Richard Hal Wright Passed away in 2021, after a long term battle with cancer. Member of Arizona Croquet for a few years while he had a house in Florence, AZ. Friends with Tony Kemp, fellow canadian, member of the popular Bayfield croquet club in Canada and member of Mission Hills croquet club in Rancho Mirage, CA. Passed away peacefully at Hospice Wellington in Guelph with family by his side on Saturday, April 3, 2021, in his 78th year. He will be dearly missed by best friend and partner Antoinette Kemp and her family David, Heather, Erika, Olivia and Nika. Also dearly missed by his daughter Selby Copeland and her family David, Abby, Clara, Elsa and Eddie, his son Sanford Siddall and partner Inbal, his sister Mary Wright and her family Murray and Benjamin Schwartzentruber and his sister-in-law Janet Wright and family Jason, Christian, and Sarah. He liked nothing better than hearing what they were all up to, and celebrated their successes as though they were his own. Predeceased by his parents Harold & Margaret Wright and brother David Wright. His treasured friends in Bayfield ON and Rancho Mirage CA made his retirement years jolly. You will have fond memories to sustain you. Born in Cobourg and raised in London, ON, Richard really found his passion in life when he began teaching in the Business School at Fanshawe College, where he continued for nearly 25 years. True and lasting friendships were forged with colleagues in the challenges and delights they faced together. He was uniformly delighted to see & hear of former students, as he genuinely wanted his students to succeed in life. In Richard's memory, scholarships have been created to continue his efforts to educate.
