ARIZONA OPEN TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR The Tournament Director is chief of all operations and has final authority on all problems. Develop a format or the tournament from the number of courts available, banking, number of days of play, time allowable each day, and other constraints by the Board of Directors. Tournament Director may appoint an assistant to develop schedules of blocks and ladders for the number of players provided by the Tournament Director. Upon receipt of entrires establish A and B flights, assign doubles partners where required. Establish tournament rules and special conditions. Solicit club members to keep clocks and deadness boards. Supervise courts and equipment committees. Coordinate and supervise Tournament Manager where required to provide assistance.
