                      Championship " Open" Flight
                      Things do change fast and how.....
                      Ren " The Rock " Kraft was undefeated at 3:00 PM
                      on Friday and found him self in the single elimination
                      bracket by 5:00 P.M.
                      Britt Ruby defeated Rock 21-7 to claim first place in 
                      the the Red block. Both Rock and Ruby had only one loss 
                      in their block, however Britt got into to the Block 
                      winners best of three on points.  Richard Powell came 
                      out of the A Block in third , followed by Roy Gee and 
                      a very long shot Russell Uhler ( with only three wins ).
                      In the Yellow Block, Rich Lamm caught Rory Kelley 
                      napping with a strong +26 game.  Nothing fancy, just 
                      good solid crpquet on Lamm's part.  Both Rich and Rory
                      had 7-2 records, and Rich advanced to the Block winners
                      bracket on points.   Following Rory out of the block 
                      for third place was Johnny Mitchell at 6-3; Charlie 
                      Smith at 5-4; then Cameron Guernsey also at 5-4.
                      Saturday we will see Rock Kraft v Cameron ; Roy Gee v
                      Johnny Mitchell; Charlie Smith v. Richard Powell and 
                      Rory Kelley v. Russell Uhler's
                      High "B' Have Katz v Cartwright and P. Butts v. Coleman
                      on Saturday.  Low "B" have Selman playing Leonard;
                      Maurice playing Lyon; with Melanie Marsac and Joy Aden
                      waiting to play winners.  Further up the ladder
                      Bob Riddell and Gordon Smale wait to play advancing 
                      players.
                      All players not advancing go over to the plate event.
                      finals and plate playoff will be Sunday.
